First established on June 5, 1995, as a day-long observation, in 2002 President George W. Bush expanded the observation to last the full month of June, acknowledging the importance of providing all citizens a chance to buy homes and pursue a better quality of life.

Our experts provide a spectrum of services for Washington County homeowners: critical home repair loan programs; free individual homebuyer education and online or in-person workshops; first-generation homebuyer grants; and free foreclosure, refinance, and reverse mortgage counseling.
