June is National Homeownership Month

June is National Homeownership Month, a time when we recognize that homeownership is an integral part of the American Dream, fostering economic stability, building generational wealth, and strengthening communities across the nation. First established on June 5, 1995, as a day-long observation, in 2002 President George W. Bush expanded the observation to last the full month of June, acknowledging the importance of providing all citizens a chance to buy homes and pursue a better quality of life.

Our experts provide a spectrum of services for Washington County homeowners: critical home repair loan programs; free individual homebuyer education and online or in-person workshops; first-generation homebuyer grants; and free foreclosure, refinance, and reverse mortgage counseling.
