Red Oak Preserve
- City of Oakdale’s Acorn Award for Outstanding Redevelopment.
- The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Official’s (NAHRO’s) Award of Merit for Program Innovation – Affordable Housing.
Red Oak Preserve is a 126-unit, master-planned neighborhood located in the city of Oakdale. We owned a manufactured home park which had significant infrastructure problems. We redeveloped the property in a holistic manner to meet needs of existing residents while resolving the health and safety issues posed by the aging infrastructure. Along with partners, we developed an overall land use vision that created a neighborhood with affordable and market rate owner occupied single family homes, affordable owner occupied townhomes, affordable rental townhomes and affordable senior apartments.
Executive Director Barbara Dacy leads Oakdale Mayor Carmen Sarrack and members of the Oakdale City Council on a tour of Red Oak Preserve.
