EXCITING NEWS!
Dear Residents of Raymie Johnson Apartments and Townhomes,
Starting in summer 2025, Raymie Johnson Estates will be extensively remodeled. The apartments, townhomes, common spaces, and building exterior will be modernized and made more convenient, efficient, and comfortable. Inviting and fresh surroundings will make Raymie Johnson Estates feel more like home.
Team members from the Washington County CDA, Shelter Corporation, Canvas Health, Kaas Wilson, and Housing Opportunities Unlimited (HOU) will carefully ensure everyone is impacted as little as possible.
When the work does affect you, we will provide plenty of resources and assistance. Project leaders from HOU will meet individually with each household to discuss concerns and make plans so that everyone’s needs are addressed.

Raymie Johnson Estates Residents,
Soon, you will receive a certified mail envelope from the Washington County Community Development Agency (CDA). This envelope contains a cover letter, updated frequently asked questions, and a letter called a General Information Notice, which is a formal notice of the upcoming renovation on the apartments and townhomes. This notice outlines the rights and protections provided to you under the Uniform Relocation Act.
*Please sign the certified mail return receipt when you receive the envelope.* This green postcard will be returned to the CDA by the post office.
As a resident of Raymie Johnson Estates, you are the most important stakeholder in this project, and we anticipate holding community meetings in the next few months to share more details about the renovation plans and project schedule.
If you have any questions about the letter and information you are about to receive, please visit our contact information page.
Thank you!
