Sign Up for Free HomeStretch Workshop June 6 & 7, 2022

In recognition of National Homeownership Month for the month of June, Washington County CDA is offering a FREE HomeStretch Workshop on June 6^th & 7^th from 5 – 9 p.m.  

HomeStretch is eight hours of homebuyer education provided by the CDA on a monthly, two four-hour sessions taught over two evenings. HomeStretch helps participants understand the home buying process and strategies. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop.

Topics covered at a Home Stretch Workshop include:

• becoming a homeowner
• money management
• credit requirements
• mortgage lending and loans
• realtor expectations
• home inspection overview
• loan closing
• neighborhood relations

Most sessions have professional industry volunteers (who are non-biased and not allowed to advertise to participants) that help cover these topics and provide information on the local home buyer market conditions.
